BOYLE COUNTY, KY - The Boyle County School Board has announced its new superintendent, Mr. Mark Wade, who will take over the position July 1, 2023. Mr. Wade has been with the district for 20 years, serving in different capacities. He started as an Agriculture teacher and then moved up to become the assistant principal before assuming the role of the high school principal.

Mr. Wade is a seasoned educator, with over twenty-one years of experience and success as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, and head principal. He is known for his focus on embracing a culture of academic excellence for every child, while also providing real-world learning opportunities. Mr. Wade is a data-driven leader, emphasizing continuous improvement, and his leadership style is marked by a spirit of collaboration and transparency.

As the principal of Boyle County High School, Mr. Wade has created a strong academic program that has seen the school consistently achieve high rankings and has the number one county High School in the state based on Kentucky Summative Assessment data. He has been instrumental in building a culture of collaboration and mutual respect among staff and students, resulting in a supportive learning environment.

As the new superintendent, Mr. Wade plans to continue his work of building a culture of academic excellence across the district. He will focus on providing students with real-world learning opportunities, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in college and beyond.
